1. Who operates Project X
Project X is operated by Cameron Munro. Questions about this policy or Project X’s privacy practices can be sent to cameron9ugc@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Account and authentication information. We process information used to create, authenticate, protect, and recover your account, such as your email address, account identifier, authentication state, and security settings. Authentication credentials are handled through our authentication provider.
Profile information. You may provide a username, name, age, general profile location, industry, education, experience, biography, current project, goals, interests, the kinds of people you want to meet, and a profile photo. A location entered in your profile is information you choose to type; Project X does not use that field to collect GPS or precise device location.
Activity and relationships. We process profile discovery impressions and interactions, Connect requests, connections, blocks, reports, conversations, and related service activity.
Messages and other content. We store messages and other content you choose to submit so that we can deliver conversations, operate safety features, and provide the service.
Subscription information. We process subscription product, purchase, entitlement, and transaction-association information needed to provide Project X Pro and protect purchase ownership. Apple processes payment details; Project X does not receive your full payment-card information.
Security and technical information. We process account-security state, rate-limit and product-quota state, deletion requests, service logs, and technical request information needed to secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the service.
3. Information we do not use for advertising
Project X does not include third-party advertising SDKs or use personal information for third-party targeted advertising. Project X does not include dedicated third-party analytics SDKs such as Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude, or dedicated crash-reporting SDKs such as Crashlytics or Sentry. We do not access your contacts or collect GPS or precise location through the app.
4. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; display profiles to eligible members; operate Discover; form mutual connections; deliver conversations and messages; process and verify subscriptions; enforce blocking, reporting, age-cohort, quota, rate-limit, and abuse protections; support account recovery and deletion; maintain and troubleshoot the service; respond to support requests; and comply with legal obligations.
5. When information is visible or shared
Your profile information and selected profile photo may be shown to other eligible Project X members through Discover and connection experiences. Messages are available to the participants in the relevant conversation. Reports, security records, and protected subscription records are restricted to authorized service or moderation functions.
We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect Project X or its users, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our Terms, or address a security or safety issue.
6. Service providers
Supabase provides authentication, database, file storage, realtime messaging infrastructure, and backend functions used to operate the app. RevenueCat supports subscription entitlement and purchase-state management. Apple processes App Store purchases and subscription billing. Cloudflare Workers hosts and delivers the Project X website and may process ordinary web request information such as IP address, browser details, and request logs for delivery and security.
These providers process information on Project X’s behalf or as independent providers under their applicable terms and privacy practices. Information may be processed in locations where Project X or these providers operate, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
7. Storage, retention, and deletion
Project X stores app account, profile, relationship, message, safety, and subscription information remotely through its service providers. Limited app information may also be stored on your device to maintain your session, present cached content, and support normal app operation.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. When you delete your account through the application’s deletion process, ordinary account information is removed as part of that process, subject to limited retention where reasonably necessary for security, fraud and abuse prevention, moderation integrity, dispute handling, legal obligations, subscription or purchase ownership integrity, and provider backup or transaction-record requirements.
8. Your choices and rights
You can edit supported profile information, manage account security, block or report users, manage subscriptions through Apple, and request account deletion through the app. Depending on where you live, you may also have legal rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before completing it.
9. Security
Project X uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access, database access controls, multi-factor-aware authorization for protected actions, blocking rules, rate limits, and restricted backend functions. No service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Age eligibility
Project X is intended for users aged 13 or older. Users under 13 may not create or use a Project X account.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Project X evolves or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and provide any additional notice required by applicable law.
